The first ever Hockey Helps the Homeless Tournament in Mississauga at Paramount Fine Foods Centre community rinks on February 22, 2019.

Amateur skaters get a chance to play with hockey greats like Shayne Corson, Scott Walker, Gilbert Dionne, Georges Laraque, and many more, and raise funds to address the needs of men, women, and youth who will be experiencing homelessness this year.

Players register to play and then fund raise for the cause. Funds raised stay local and net proceeds from our Mississauga tournament will go to support Raising the Roof, which will use the proceeds to renovate a vacant house in the area and repurpose it to create affordable and supportive housing for Caledon Area Families for Inclusion (CAFFI). HHTH and Raising the Roof is working together to make sure everyone in the Mississauga area has a safe place to call home.

The day consists of exciting hockey games that the public can watch for free and cheer on the teams! Everyone is welcome and donations are welcomed at the door. For more information regarding sponsorship, signing up a team, playing as a free agent, or volunteering, please contact Scott Page at Scott@hhth.com.
