The National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR) in collaboration with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (MCFN) and the City of Mississauga will be hosting Gidinawendimin, which means ‘We Are All Related’ in Anishinaabemowim.

This is the Centre’s inaugural youth activation event, seeking to raise awareness through an engaging presentation from Residential School survivors, Elders, leaders and celebrities. More than 5,000 students will be invited to the event and it will be broadcast to an additional two million students across the country.

For educators across the country: This program will be streamed live for those who cannot attend in person. Register to participate in the Truth and Reconciliation Week 2022 program for students in grades 1-12. If you are already registered for Truth and Reconciliation Week, you are registered for the stream on September 29th, 2022.
