Partnering with Mississauga Ringette and Mississauga Girls Hockey League, the Indigenous Hockey Equipment drive will collect gently used and new hockey equipment in a drive-thru event at Paramount Fine Foods Centre on Saturday, May 4, 2024.

Indigenous Hockey Equipment Drive (formerly known as First Nations Hockey Equipment Drive) has teamed up with a local sports charity from Oshawa, Ontario: Their Opportunity, which has assisted with planning, logistics, social media, and the online presence for the cash donations to buy new helmets and support any transportation costs.

The drive-thru event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Parking Lot A2.

Only the following equipment will be accepted:

• hockey pants
• skates
• helmets
• elbow pads
• hockey sticks
• shoulder pads
• hockey bags
• shin pads
• hockey gloves
